Constant Aviation is currently seeking qualified candidates to join our maintenance teams in our Birmingham, AL and Cleveland, OH facilities.
Current Openings Include:
A&P Mechanic
Responsibilities:
- Performs airframe, powerplant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
- Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems
- Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
- Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
- Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Constant Aviation's Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
- Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
- Presents a clean and neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and general housekeeping
- Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required
- Tows and parks aircraft
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required
- Airframe structural/composite repair experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
Composite Technician
Responsibilities
- Performs Composite and Sheetmetal repairs of components
- Perform hot-bonding, wet layup preparation, and cures, using raw materials or pre-pregs, both glass and aramid fiber.
- Perform repairs with the use of various adhesives and resins.
- Remove and repair damage of honeycomb and core panels.
- Repair of thermosets and thermoplastics using thermal-welders and adhesive bonding.
- Removal and replacement of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing components assemblies
- Performs temporary and permanent repairs, Return-to-Service, on panels, flight controls, doors, interiors, etc. in accordance with Manufacturer’s Repair Procedures or other FAA approved data.
- Performs priming and painting of components.
- Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
- Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Air Services’ Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
- Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
- Presents a clean and neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and general housekeeping
- Performs other component maintenance work as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate desired
- 3 year MRO/Military Component Repair experience desired
- Airframe and component structural/composite repair experience required
- Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety
- Ability to work in a team environment
A&P Sheet Metal Technician
Responsibilities
- Performs airframe, powerplant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
- Perform extensive installation of structural components to support aircraft modification work
- Fabricates structural components
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to fabricate sheet metal parts for complex repairs
- Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems
- Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
- Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
- Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Constant Aviation‘s Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
- Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
- Presents a clean and neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and general housekeeping
- Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required
- Tows and parks aircraft
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required
- 3-5 years experience minimum in a repair station environment, fabrication and installation skills
- Airframe structural/composite repair experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
