  • Strong buffing and polishing skills

  • Calculates mix ratios in order to mix sealant, filler materials, and paint

Aircraft Upholster

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, completion drawings, company standards, work instructions
  • Perform necessary calculations using shop math based on required tooling, detailed parts, assemblies, and installations.
  • Perform sewing operations in accordance with applicable FAA regulations.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vendor passenger seats and divans in accordance with the guidelines of vendor component maintenance manuals.

  • Manufacturing and fabricating cabinets from raw materials on corporate aircraft including wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal and veneers
  • Construct interior components to the customer’s specifications
  • Fabricates, fit trims and installs interior components, galleys, bulk heads, doors, side ledges, game and conference tables
  • Read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings

Chief Inspector

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and positive customer service attitude without ever compromising quality
  • Ensures personnel comply with all current Federal Aviation Regulations, Repair Station/Quality Control Manual, Inspection/Compliance Standards, and Company Policiesand Procedures

  • Ensure that adequate inspection aids, special tools and equipment are available, inspected and maintained in a serviceable condition

  • Oversight of Facility Technician training requirements and provide input on planning of all scheduled training for technicians
  • Maintain facility personnel roster and authorizations
  • Manage facility tool control and tool calibration program to ensure all tools and test equipment are inspected and maintained in a serviceable and, where applicable, calibrated condition
  • Ensure that final inspections are properly performed on all work completed before it is released for Return to Service
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of all required inspection records, reports and forms
  • Conduct internal and external facility audits as necessary
  • Oversee and maintain procedures to ensure completion of required inspections when inspection personnel shifts or assignment changes occur
  • Scheduling of manpower within the local QC Department (vacation approval and tracking)
  • Ensure incoming material including parts, supplies, and articles receive an incoming inspection (Receiving Inspection) to determine airworthiness prior to being approved for installation as prescribed in the Quality Control Manual
  • Ensure that no defective, non-conformed or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or assembly released to service
  • Ensure compliance with procedures for preliminary inspections, hidden damage inspections, inspection continuity and final inspection of all items processed by the facility
  • Manage and control of Inspector stamps and their issue/confiscation

Director of Avionics

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and communicate a sound business plan that meets organizational goals and objectives in the Avionics Installation and Service Departments
  • Leads the entire Avionics Service and Installation groups under the direction of two independent managers.
  • Leads cross-company initiatives which result in improved processes, reduced waste, and increased margins.
  • Establishes relationships with key customers.
  • Acts as the primary interface to Sales and Maintenance Operations; providing an accurate project/production forecast and monitoring and controlling staffing, inventory levels, productivity and profitability.

Line Service Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties related to aircraft arrival, including meeting aircraft, guide pilot in parking, and set wheel chocks as required.
  • Tow and move aircraft to hanger and or requested location.
  • Fuel/Defuel aircraft within regulations and FAA guidelines.
  • Provide other services to customers as needed including carrying/unloading luggage, making arrangements for transportation within the city, cleaning aircraft, etc.

  • Plans and coordinates all maintenance events with operations prior to aircraft arrival
