Responsibilities:

  • Inputs data in a timely and accurate manner into various informational systems; complies with or assists in the compilation of statistical information for special reports.

Aircraft Painter

Responsibilities:

  • Strong buffing and polishing skills
  • Ability to spray a variety of paints and finishes
  • Selects finish ingredients and mixes them by hand or machine to obtain specified color or shade to specifications or match existing finish
  • Calculates mix ratios in order to mix sealant, filler materials, and paint
  • Must have experience cutting and buffing polyesters, urethanes, imron and acrylic clear coats

Aircraft Upholster

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, completion drawings, company standards, work instructions
  • Perform necessary calculations using shop math based on required tooling, detailed parts, assemblies, and installations.
  • Perform sewing operations in accordance with applicable FAA regulations.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vendor passenger seats and divans in accordance with the guidelines of vendor component maintenance manuals.

Avionics Technician

  • Troubleshoots, repairs, modifies and calibrates aircraft electronic systems and components

  • Manufacturing and fabricating cabinets from raw materials on corporate aircraft including wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal and veneers
  • Construct interior components to the customer’s specifications
  • Fabricates, fit trims and installs interior components, galleys, bulk heads, doors, side ledges, game and conference tables
  • Read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings
  • Performs troubleshooting and repairs to inspect incoming cabinetry and interior, inventory, interior, protection and proper interior nomenclature for part identification

Responsibilities:

  • Perform overhaul and repairs to component assemblies.
  • Perform tear down, cleaning, assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic component assemblies.
  • Repair damage of parts within in documented repair schemes, such as blending, sanding, etc.
  • Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to operate various test stands for hydraulic, air, and electrical.

Harness Fabricator

Responsibilities:

  • Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality and repetitious manor for aircraft installation.
  • Perform a variety of aviation electrical and fabrication processes to include but not limited to wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination and assembly.
  • Perform electrical wiring modifications to equipment removed from aircraft.
  • Routes and ties wires to form wire harness (cable) used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems

Senior Aircraft Upholster
C    

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aircraft upholstery requirements not limited to, such as pattern making, sewing, foam fabrication, and application on all components.
  • Interpret blueprints, completion drawings, company standards, work instructions
  • Perform necessary calculations using shop math based on required tooling, detailed parts, assemblies, and installations.
  • Perform upholstering operations in accordance with applicable FAA regulations.
  • Disassemble and reassemble of vendor passenger seats and divans in accordance to the guidelines of the vendor component maintenance manuals.
  • Perform proper maintenance practices in accordance to Constant Aviation standards, such as: proper glue application, adhesive bonding, hardware, and rivet installation. (When applicable to current job assignment).
  • Correct handling and use of all required tools specific to the current job assignment.
  • Correct handling and use of all required chemicals and adhesives related to the current job assignment, including general knowledge and ability on retrieving data from the MSDS safety books.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of aircraft upholstery experience
  • Able to setup and operate all standard equipment related to upholstery.
  • Able to work from documentation such as 3D models, blueprints, drawings, aircraft specifications, preparation packages, etc.
  • Must not be allergic to chemical, solvents, paints, adhesives, natural or manmade materials, fabrics, or feathers.
  • Able to distinguish colors and align intricate or elaborate designs in fabrics

Structural DER (Designated Engineering Representative)

Responsibilities:

  • Support design, development, flight test and certification activities in support of Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects
  • Coordinate with local FAA and DAR for field approvals
  • Prepare structural and mechanical reports, Engineering Authorizations and structural drawings
  • Coordinate and monitor structural/mechanical aspects of project schedule with the engineering managers
  • Develop cabin interior, systems and structural modification/installation work instructions
  • Coordination with component / system suppliers on design development

Structures Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Layout, fabricate, assemble, mate, install, check or troubleshoot and repair production and prototype aircraft structures, parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Read and interpret information from mechanical/structural, blueprints, planning, process specifications, diagrams, engineering drawings and sketches, and other instructions to determine the methods and sequence of operations to layout, assemble, and install precision parts and assemblies
  • Layout coordinated hole patterns, cutouts, trim lines, mating points, assembly and installation locations using precision measuring instruments and equipment
  • Assemble and mate aircraft parts and assemblies
  • Attach structural parts and assemblies using riveting and hand and power tools, hand trim and finish
  • Drill, route, ream, countersink, spot-face and counter bore parts
  • Modify or rebuild parts to mold line or configuration changes
  • Modify aircraft structure, installation and mechanical systems in accordance with engineering requirements
  • Perform experimental and developmental work operations on experimental aircraft or assemblies
  • Assemble prefabricated parts into assemblies and mate major sections of aircraft assemblies
  • Incorporate major engineering changes and modifications
  • Present a clean and neat work area to customers
