First Independent Service Center to Complete 41K Modification Also Completes Fifteenth 48-Month Inspection

CLEVELAND, OHIO – February 16, 2009 – Constant Aviation, LLC, a Nextant Aerospace company, announced today that it has completed a 41,000 ft. modification and its fifteenth (15) 48-Month inspection on an Embraer Legacy 600 that is based in China. This is the first 41,000 ft. modification completed outside of Embraer’s manufacturing production facility.

The modification will enhance the aircraft’s capabilities when flying in unregulated airspace in China, providing a choice of flying at 20,000 ft. or 40,000 ft. The aircraft will now be able to enjoy a vast improvement in fuel efficiency over cruising at a 20,000 ft. altitude. “As the world’s leading maintenance provider for the Embraer Legacy 600, we are pleased to have the opportunity to be the first maintenance facility to complete this 41,000 ft. modification. It speaks volumes that the owners of this aircraft chose Constant Aviation out of all the maintenance facilities in the world to complete this modification,” said Stephen Maiden, Vice President of Constant Aviation.

In addition to being the first maintenance provider to complete this 41,000 ft. modification, Constant Aviation has now completed fifteen (15) 48-month or equivalent inspections while logging over 750,000 maintenance hours on the EMB-135 platform to date. Constant Aviation provides maintenance service and support for the majority of the US registered Embraer Legacy fleet and is increasingly becoming the provider of choice for Legacy owners worldwide.
