Certification Allows Maintenance on Canadian Aircraft

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, OHIO – April 20, 2009 – Constant Aviation, LLC, a Nextant Aerospace company located at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, announced today that it has received the Transport Canada Civil Aviation Directorate Supplement (TCCA). This rating now authorizes Constant to perform and sign off maintenance for any Canadian registered aircraft.

“With our Cleveland facility being a short flight from Canada we are excited to be able to offer our support to those aircraft. We are continuously looking for opportunities that will expand our product offerings to our customers. The addition of this supplement to our Certificate is a perfect step in that direction,” said Stephen Maiden, Vice President of Constant Aviation.

A Piaggio P.180 based in Ottawa is the first Canadian aircraft to arrive at the Cleveland facility for maintenance work which includes the D Check Inspection. With the completion of this inspection Constant Aviation will have completed nine (9) D Inspections with two of them being 6000 hour D Inspections. Constant Aviation’s experience on the Piaggio aircraft also includes five (5) C inspections, A and B inspections, complete interior refurbishments including seating changes, avionics upgrade, and SatCom phone installations.
