Certification Complete for WiFi Capability Including Aircell High Speed Internet in the Gulfstream IV

CLEVELAND, OHIO – July, 2010 – Constant Aviation, LLC, a maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility headquartered at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, announced today the completion of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the WiFi system along with the Aircell high-speed Internet in a Gulfstream IV.

“When we launched the STC program for the WiFi system we saw an excellent opportunity to be able to offer our customers a product that brings their aircraft cabin into the next generation. The addition of WiFi to corporate aircraft has been on the rise and is an upgrade that more and more people are looking to add. Giving passengers access to the internet and email in flight is quickly becoming a requirement and an efficient use of time for business travelers,” said Stephen Maiden, President Constant Aviation.

Constant Aviation is also in the process of completing Supplemental Type Certificate’s (STC) for the installation of the Aircell High Speed Internet System including WiFi in the Embraer Legacy, Citation X, Beechjet and Phenom 300 Aircraft.

The Aircell Axxess® system along with the ATG 4000 provides worldwide Iridium voice telephone service and broadband data in the continental United States. The system is an affordable solution in business aviation that provides a true high speed Internet experience that equals what passengers are accustomed to on the ground. It is up to 56 times faster than a traditional dial-up connection, yet it is small and light enough to fit on virtually any business aircraft. An Aircell High Speed Internet unit for business aviation weighs just 11 pounds and its two belly-mounted antennae weigh just 1.25 pounds each. This new system is in high demand from business aviation operators and aircraft owners.
