Simultaneous Completion of Aircell Installation and 72 Month Inspection

CLEVELAND, OHIO – May 25, 2010 – Constant Aviation, LLC, headquartered at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, installed an Aircell ATG 4000 High Speed Internet System in a Gulfstream IV complete with the Aircell Axxess® cabin communications systems with WiFi® provisions. The installation was completed in line with a 72 Month Inspection. This is the fourth Aircell High Speed Internet System Constant Aviation has installed this year.

In November, Constant Aviation launched the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) process for the installation of the Aircell High Speed Internet System including WiFi in the Embraer Legacy, Gulfstream IV, Citation X, Beechjet and Piaggio Aircraft. The STC package for WiFi capability on the Gulfstream IV is complete and in review by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Constant expects certification by the end of June.

“The convenience this system brings to passengers is unmatched; being able to access the internet and email in flight is quickly becoming a requirement and
an efficient use of time for business travelers,” said Stephen Maiden, President Constant Aviation.

The Aircell Axxess system along with the ATG 4000 provides worldwide Iridium voice telephone service and broadband data in the continental United States. The system is an affordable solution in business aviation that provides a true high speed Internet experience that equals what passengers are accustomed to on the ground. It is up to 56 times faster than a traditional dial-up connection, yet it is small and light enough to fit on virtually any business aircraft. An Aircell High Speed Internet unit for business aviation weighs just 11 pounds and its two belly-mounted antennae weigh just 1.25 pounds each. This new system is in high demand from business aviation operators and aircraft owners.
