Certification Allows Maintenance on European Registered Aircraft

CLEVELAND, OHIO – February 8, 2010 – Constant Aviation, LLC, headquartered at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, has been awarded the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) repair station certification. The certification now authorizes Constant’s Cleveland Facility to perform and sign off maintenance for any European registered aircraft.

“We started to see an increased number of maintenance requests coming from European based aircraft to complete their maintenance tasks while they were traveling through the United States. We saw this as an opportunity to offer our first class service to the world wide business aviation market”, said Stephen Maiden, President of Constant Aviation.

There are currently 27 European countries in the EASA program with close to 3,000 aircraft registered within them. That number steadily increases as the aviation industry in Europe continues to grow.

“The EASA certification combined with our Class 4 Rating in Cleveland gives us the ability to service any size European aircraft. In our goal to remain consistent throughout our facility network, we will begin the certification process for our Birmingham, AL facility over the coming months”, said Maiden.
